I’m happy to announce that my latest short film ’Borderland’ has been selected for the Best Swedish Shortfilm competition at Uppsala Shortfilm Festival in October. This will be the third National film festival for the film this year, starting off with the New Doc nomination at Tempo Documentary Filmfestival and the award for Best Documentary at Pixel Short Film Festival in April.

Uppsala Shortfilm Festival is the oldest short film competition in Sweden, running since 1982 and is recognized by BAFTA and the Academy Awards. Around 300 films from all over the world was selected from the 6000 submissions and 30 of these compete in the National section ’Best Swedish Short Film 2022’. Borderland will be screened on Wednesday 26th and Saturday 29th October.

’Borderland’ is still awaiting it’s International premiere at the moment but things are in the making…stay tuned.
